Villa La Poventa stands among gentle hills and olive trees. The stone farmhouse was built around 1826 and was the home of a farmer of an important manor house. Over the time the farmhouse has undergone continuous improvements, and today it is a splendid holiday home lovingly restored and equipped with every comfort. Located on a gentle hill, the property gathers a splendid view over the Chiana Valley up to Monte Amiata and the city of Cortona. Its strategic position is an excellent starting point to reach out the most famous local highlights and the archaeological park of Cortona. Within a short walking distance, guests can reach the Butcher's, a Mini Market, a Bar and a Pharmacy. The farmhouse is built on two floors and it is completely fenced. It consists of a main farmhouse and a dependence, immersed in an olive grove of 100 plants where the beautiful garden and a swimming pool stand out among centuries-old olive trees. The conservatory hosts a dining area perfect all the year round, equipped with sliding windows/doors and a splendid view on the surrounding countryside. The farmhouse is composed as follows: a large dining room with wood table, a wide library and a spacious living room with fireplace and sofa, ceiling fan and a minibar. The kitchen is equipped with professional central counter with oven, American style fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker and microwave. The main property comes with 5 bedrooms (of which one with French bed and one with two single beds) and 5 bathrooms. The dependence is equipped with marble kitchen with stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, the living room with pool table, sofa and armchair, game table and fireplace opens on the conservatory, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. At guests' disposal the old wood-burning oven with worktop, sink and barbecue.
